Restriction by Domains
Ennote offers domain-based access control, which allows you to restrict logins to only those users who belong to approved company domains. This helps prevent unauthorized access to your organization and its resources.
How it works:
- Domain Whitelisting:You can specify a list of allowed domains (e.g., @yourcompany.com, @partnercompany.net).
- Login Restriction:Only users with email addresses associated with the whitelisted domains will be able to get access to your organization.
This feature provides an additional layer of security by ensuring that only authorized individuals within your organization or trusted partner companies can access your organization.
External Key Management Service (KMS)
Beyond access control, Ennote offers robust cryptographic security through our integration with external . For organizations with strict compliance or governance requirements, this feature allows you to take full custody of the keys used to encrypt your secrets.
How it works:
- Customer-Managed Keys:Instead of relying on Ennote's default KMS, you can configure your projects to use a key you provision and manage within your own cloud environment, such as Google Cloud KMS.
- Data Sovereignty and Control:This ensures that all encryption and decryption operations for your sensitive data are performed exclusively under your control. The keys never leave your cloud environment, giving you complete custody and an auditable record of all cryptographic activity.
This provides an essential layer of security for enterprises, ensuring that your organization’s most critical secrets are protected by a key management solution that you own and control.
