Workspaces Overview
Workspaces are dedicated environments where you can organize and manage your secrets and collaborate with your team. They provide a secure and isolated space to store sensitive information and control access based on user roles and permissions.

Ennote offers two types of workspaces:
- Private Workspaces
- Automatic Creation:A private workspace is automatically created for every user in your organization.
- Exclusive Access:Only the owner of the private workspace can access it. No other users, even organization administrators, have permission to view or modify its contents.
- No Audit Logs:To further protect user privacy, no audit logs are generated for activities within private workspaces.
- One per User:Each user can have only one private workspace within an organization.
- Shared Workspaces
- Collaborative Environment:Shared workspaces are designed for team collaboration and allow you to control access based on user roles and permissions.
- Granular Permissions:You can assign different roles and permissions to individual users or user groups within a shared workspace. This allows you to define who can view, create, modify, or delete secrets.
- Audit Logs:All activities within shared workspaces are recorded in the audit logs, providing transparency and accountability.
